The rights that are given to a citizen for the betterment and protection of an individual life is known as rights.Every citizen has a right to uplift their living standard by the help of some basic right which is given by the government or constitution is known as fundamental rights. These rights are granted by the government so it also called as legal rights. Rights and duties are two tires of a single vehicle so we should enjoy our rights by not ignoring our duties. All fundamental rights are citizen rights but all citizen rights are not fundamental rights. Right to freedom, a right to equality, a right to property, a right to clothing, the right to education, right against exploitation, a right to information, the right to shelter and so on but here are the major fundamental rights guaranteed by our constitution.
Right to equality
Government or constitution has given us the right to equality. Under this right, every citizen is treated well. No discrimination for the physically challenged or socially challenged people. Like no discrimination on the basis of caste, religion, gender, race, and so on.
Right to freedom
According to this right, every citizen has right to express their opinion or views freely. Everyone can live their life in their own way no one can interfere in other’s life. They can do any job according to their choice and can choose any things they want. They can move freely in their country.
Right to education and culture
According to this right, all can get an education and can learn their culture and tradition. All have right to learn and exercisetheir culture and tradition to promote and protect it.
Right to property
According to this right, a citizen has right to earn and enjoy theirlife by theirown capacity. They can buy any properties as they want and can sell if they want.
Right to information
According to this right, every citizen has rights to get information regarding the public matter or government. All can get information and can give information about particular things in a public matter, they can also demand it.
Right againstexploitation
According to this right, every citizen has right to live freely. No one can dominate other and can force like human trafficking, slavery, forced labor, child laboretc.
Although we have all these rights we should not forget our duties. We should be sincereand responsible towardsour duties. We should enjoy rights by not hampering or distributingothers. We all have right to live in society but it is our duties to clean our society. Our duties make our rights meaningful if we use it in a proper manner.
