Brief description about 18th SAARC summit:

The two-day18th summit of the South Asian Association for regional cooperation (SAARC) began on November 26-27 (2014 ) ended in Kathmandu, Nepal. The theme of the summit was Deeper Integration for Peace and Prosperity, focused on enhancing connectivity between the member states for easier transit-transport across the region. Sushil Koirala, the then prime minister of Nepal was the main hostof the event which took place in Rastriya Sabha Griha Sanandan Raj, Nepal. The summit took place after an interval of three years as the last summit was held in 2011 in Maldives and the next summit will now be held in Islamabad, Pakistan in 2016. SAARC summit held in every two years.

There are different records made in Rio Olympics 2016. Gaurika Singh (Nepal) was the youngest athlete in Rio Olympics 2016. She was 13 years old. Micheal Phelps has become the first person to win the most gold medals Olympics. He has won altogether 23 gold medals from the field Swimming. He is from the United states of America. Usain Bolt, the athlete of Jamaica has maintained his record and able to win the gold medal in Marathon. He has also broken his record of running. Neymar has created the world record in the history of Olympics by scoring the goal in 14 seconds.

North Korea tested Nuclear:

North Korea conducted its fourth nuclear detonation on 6 January 2016.At the Punggye-Ri Nuclear Test site, approximately 50 kilometres (30 mile north-west of Kilju City in Kilju country, an underground nuclear test was carried out. TheUnited States Geological Service reported a 5.1magnitude of the earthquake from the location; the China Earthquake Network Centre reported the magnitude as 4.9.North Korean media also made announcements that the regime had successfully tested a hydrogen bomb.

Nepal Amends New Budget:

The total amount of 10 kharba51 area has been released by the finance minister. The budget of 2073/2074 has mainly focused on the development of the infrastructures which had been damaged by the massive earthquake occurred in last year. This budget has increased the salary of the civil servant by 25%. For the development of damaged infrastructures, the government has separated the amount of 1 kharba,40 arba and 66 crores. For school area development programme it has separated the amount of 26 arba 50 crores. The new budget has also got some positive as well as negative aspects. Still, the budget of Nepal depends upon the foreign aids, donation, gifts and grants.
