The government of Koshi Province in Nepal built Manmohan Technical institution, which is the country's first technical institution. With well-equipped labs, workshops, classrooms, and all necessary facilities, Manmohan Memorial Polytechnic was taken over and converted into a Technical University by the Koshi Province Government of Nepal.
In contrast to other colleges in Nepal, its primary goal is to produce highly skilled professionals from entry level to advanced levels in the fields of engineering, pharmacy, forestry, agriculture, and nursing, among others.
The University will be run by the Board of Governers under the Koshi Province administration. The objective of this university is to establish and manage constituent colleges in Nepal's Koshi Province.
This university is located in Nepal's Koshi Province 1 in the Budhiganga Rural Municipality in the Morang district.
Another program in technology and applied science from the School of Applied Science will shortly be launched.
