RMIT has a proud history of Vocational Education (VE). Founded more than 130 years ago as a ‘Working Men’s College’, RMIT’s original motto ‘a skilled hand, a cultivated mind’ still resonates today, with the university growing into a leading global vocational and higher education institution.
The College of VE incorporates the fields of business, design and technology, media, art and communication, social care, engineering technology, nursing, computer science, myotherapy, dental studies and flight training.
We provide high quality vocational programs to school leavers, existing workers and employers. Through a range of certificates, diplomas, sub-bachelor programs, advanced diplomas and associate degrees.
