Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences
Under the direction of Madan Bhandari's goal of social fairness, notably in health, MBAHS was founded by Provincial Act, 2018. Recognizing the enormous surge in demand for postsecondary education, our legislators passed a measure requiring each state to designate at least a Government Medical College as a Deem University.
Programs
- BPH: The BPH program's course of study will last eight semesters, or four academic years. The first seven semesters, or three and a half academic years, will be dedicated to academic activities, while the last semester, or half academic year, will need an internship posting.
It's curriculum aims towards diversified knowledge in public health to lead you in the careers of your choice like: Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Health Promotion and Education, Health System Management and Public Health Research.
- BscMLT: The course of study for the BSc. MLT program shall extend over a period of eight semesters (four academic years) with academic activities spanning over first seven semesters (three and half academic years) and mandatory internship posting in the last semester (half academic year).
The major subjects covered are: Integrated Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Microbiology, Clinical Haematology and Blood Banking, Clinical Parasitology, Histopathology and Cytopathology, Molecular Biology, Research Methodology
- B Pharmacy: The course of study for the B. Pharmacy program shall extend over a period of eight semesters (four academic years) with academic activities as well as educational tours in first seven semesters (three and half academic years) and mandatory internship posting in the last semester (half academic year).
The major subjects covered during this period of time are: Integrated Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Integrated Industrial Pharmacy, Integrated Clinical Pharmacy, Integrated applied medical sciences, Integrated research methodology, Integrated plant and herbal medicine
- B.Sc. Nursing: The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) program is eight semester/four year which is designed to produce competent nurses. Graduate professional nurses need to be well-versed with current trends, advanced technology in the healthcare system, changing lifestyle concepts, and the expanding role and responsibilities of the nurse.
The major subjects covered within this course are: Applied Integrated Basic Science, Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Midwifery Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Geriatric Nursing, Integrated Research Methodology, Leadership and Management, Educational Science, Critical Care Nursing
