The Australian National University is a public research university and member of the Group of Eight, located in Canberra, the capital of Australia. Its main campus in Acton encompasses seven teaching and research colleges, in addition to several national academies and institutes.
Encouraging our communities to access ANU's work is the duty of ANU Global Engagement. Our work demonstrates the intellectual leadership of the University, offers our communities the transformative experience that ANU offers, aids in fulfilling our special national role, and embodies ANU values.
Through media, events, and other initiatives meant to contribute to discussions on important issues confronting Australia and the world, we interact with governments, research and teaching institutions, the public and commercial sectors, our students and staff, and the larger community.
In order to meet the needs of our community, we work together both locally and globally with partners from other countries.
