Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

The Government of India oversees and manages the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which is the national education board for both public and private schools in the country. The Board was a test of interstate integration and collaboration in secondary education, established in 1929 by a legislative resolution.
