However, after he failed to arrive, Gorov went to her place and made out with her. Anna expressed regrets for her actions. The two of them spent rest of the day together, dining, sightseeing, and being comforted by Goorov. Anna returned home after receiving her husband's letter. However, she assured Goorov that she qould pay him a visit, repeating the statement to him three times. While returning to moscow, Goorov also couldn't help but think of Anna. She agreed to visit Moscow when they first met at the theatre.
Following that, she would meet him occasionally once every two to three months in Moscow. Despite the fact bith of them were in love and believed they were in love, they felt compelled to live apart. They intended to reside in the very same city and have open communication. However, it would be exceedingly challenging.
2. Interpretation:
The story may be attempting to convey the idea that true love begins when people have experienced and overcome their passion. It could also be taken to suggest that people are merely puppets in the hands of destiny. We have no idea who we will love and marry. In any case, this tale serves as amazing evidence of the author's faith in the worth of human love.
3. Critical Thinking:
The story does a wonderful job of portraying the illicit love between two married people. Their spouses are not loved by either of them. However, they intend to reside in the same city and interact openly.
- will the strategy be effective?
- Their spouses might not accept their affection. Shouldn't they be made to pay for their illicit love?
4. Assimilation:
After reading the story, I realized how important love and attention is despite of wealth, health, family and friends. After this, I decided not to escape from peoplewho approach me in a gentle way and communicate often.
