Four Levels of Content's of Dead Man Pocket

1. Literal Comprehension:

The main character of the story, Tom Benecke is stuck high above the ground on a precarious ledge outside his apartment window. He got into this dangerous situation because he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings since he was so preoccupied with his wirk, a crucial business letter. To return inside, he must fight for his life.

2. Interpretation:

This story might be attempting toconvince us that ambition is the cause of many difficulties in life. People would be extremely happy if they were content with what they have in life. It could also be taken to suggest that having a good family life is preferable to living a role.

3. Critical Thinking:

This narrative effectively conveys a person's experience of a near-death situation. Tom's actions, however, are overdone.

- How is it possible to walk on the ledge at the eleventh story?

- How rational is he?

- Does a guy become so enraged by ambition that he would sacrifice his life for something so trivial?

4. Assimilation:

After reading this story, I saw how problematic it is. Although we may not act in the same way as Tom did, we often fail to see unsafe situations until we are in danger and then we realise our error. But at this point, we are safe. We overlook the danger. This tale has exposed the stupidity of people.
