Kathmandu University School of Law (KUSOL) is the seventh School in the Kathmandu University System. It is based in Dhulikhel municipality of Kavre-Palanchok District of the Bagmati Province of Nepal. It was established in December 2013 following the decision of the Senate in July the same year and some preparatory works accomplished by the Offices of the Vice Chancellor and Registrar.
The University has trained confident, creative, and socially responsible professionals ever since it was established in 1991. The School of Law builds on this physical and knowledge infrastructure.
At Kathmandu University School of Law, we think that practicing law is a noble and worthwhile career that deserves the confidence of the people. Only with a high-quality legal education is this feasible.
Our mission is to develop our students become leaders, critical thinkers, and problem solvers who can adapt to changes in the legal industry. In order to achieve this, we include legal theory and practical skill development into every aspect of the curriculum while maintaining the highest standards of teaching and scholarship.
Our goal is to generate a diverse class of graduates who has the knowledge, discernment, and moral fiber to excel as legal professionals and socially conscious citizens of the world.
