ABOUT CAMPUS

Snatakottar (Post-Graduate, Degree) Campus, is one of the constituent campuses of Tribhuvan University Nepal and is well-known for the renowned scholars and faculty in different fields. Humanities, Science and Management are the faculties in which only master-level programs are running here, this is a dignified campus in Provence no. 1. There are 13 subjects in post-graduate level teaching and a PhD program is also offered in science on campus. It was established in 1981 June as an extended program of Masters level from MMAM Campus Biratnagar .publishing and conducting research and other academic work. There are many young and enthusiastic professors, researchers and academicians involved as faculty members on this campus.

The objectives:

• To prepare capable human resources at the  master level required for the overall development of Nepal
• To impart standard higher education in the eastern region, particularly in Biratnagar.
• To develop a separate master's degree program out of Kathmandu Valley.

To be involved in extensive, empirical and timely creation of knowledge and research in the fields of arts, science, technology and management field.

MESSAGE FROM THE CAMPUS CHIEF

It’s my honour to welcome all the elites in the Post Graduate Campus, Tribhuwan University, Biratnagar, the only college in Nepal to offer Master’s Degree Programs only. I take the privilege of hailing all the Graduate students, intellectuals, colleagues and well-wishers who opt for or counsel others to enhance Post Graduate Degrees in Science, Management and Humanities and Social Sciences. Post Graduate Campus not only encourages a standard level of learning but also stresses students’ research activities to expose them to new challenges and produce individuals capable of facing and resolving tough challenges in the real world. We are proud to share that our alumni have taken leading roles in the national and international level NGOs, INGOs, Government Offices and universities. 

Courses Offered at Degree Campus Biratnagar

MA in English (MA English)

MA in Nepali (MA Nepali)

MA in Economics (MA Economics)

MA in Sociology

• Understand human society, its structures, dynamics, and intricacies. The course provides a comprehensive look at societal norms, interactions, and the factors influencing them.

MSc in Botany

MSc Zoology

MA in Rural Development (MRD)
