ABOUT CAMPUS

The address of the National Model College for Advanced Learning is Khusibu, Nayabazar, Kathmandu. The National School of Sciences (NIST) Network oversees this college. The National Model College for Advanced Learning offers a Bachelor of Pharmacy program in collaboration with Tribhuvan University.

With the goal of producing globally competent pharmacists, National Model College for Advanced Learning launched its B. Pharm program in 2007 under the affiliation of IOM, Tribhuvan University. A bachelor of pharmacy degree takes four years to become an expert in drugs. It is the field concerned with producing, mixing, and distributing the required counseling about the responsible use of medications. It is the field that connects the molecular world with the health sciences. The medical practitioners who are most important in managing pharmaceutical therapy are pharmacists.

Goal

To give a sufficient educational foundation for a fulfilling career in pharmacy.
To empower students to employ critical thinking and advanced knowledge to come up with original solutions.
To generate goal-oriented managers, quality assurance personnel, drug researcher formulators, and administrators for the pharmaceutical industry.

Offered Courses

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm)

Upon completion of the Bachelor in Pharmacy program, students will have gained practical skills and knowledge through training in Clinical/Hospital, Regulatory, Industrial, Quality Control Laboratory, and Retail Pharmacy. According to the Nepal Pharmacy Council Act 2057, a graduate with a bachelor's degree in pharmacy shall be referred to as a "pharmacist" and have the following job options:

1. Participating in multidisciplinary health care teams at the research center with surgeons, microbiologists, physiologists, biochemists, and physiochemists, among others.

2. Investigation into the creation of the bulk drug industry and the herbal realm.

3. Pharmacy Officer for Hospitals, QC Labs, Regulatory Authorities, and Nursing Homes.

4. Research in the fields of oncopharmacy, immunology, proteomics, nuclear pharmacy, and bioinformatics, which are freshly established disciplines.

5. Able to work for health-related NGOs and INGOs.
