ABOUT CAMPUS

With the assistance of the Japanese government, the Mahabouddha Nursing Campus moved into a new facility in 2042 and changed its name to Nursing Campus Maharajgunj. Postgraduate studies begin in the year B.S. 2051, and four more years of B. Sc. Nursing education begin in the year B.S. 2062. Likewise, PhD programs in nursing have been offered at this institution since 2068. Four students have received the title of PhD thus far.

This nursing campus marked its 50th anniversary of founding in 2063, or its golden jubilee. Over the course of six decades, this nursing campus has made significant advancements in areas such as the creation of educational departments, extra physical infrastructure, human resource development, and economic development.

Vision

The purpose of Maharajgunj Nursing Campus is to generate human resources in nursing and midwifery to fulfill the demands of universal health coverage while achieving the highest caliber of academic achievement in Nepal.

Our mission

Through academic excellence, creative research, and solid partnerships including worldwide initiatives, we train nursing and midwifery people resources to lead and alter the care in a fast changing, diverse, and complex healthcare environment.
