ABOUT CAMPUS

The official opening of Lumbini Banijya Campus took place on February 20, 1982. At first, PCL sessions were held in the morning shift in the Butwal Municipality Building in Ward No. 1. In 1986, B.Com. classes were launched, with 42 students enrolled in the first year. Phase-out of the PCL, the Campus received authority in 2001 to run MBS classes.

The University Grants Commission of Nepal awarded the campus a quality accreditation certificate in recognition of its academic excellence. Following accreditation, the campus was given permission to operate as an autonomous MBA-BF in 2017 and BBM in 2014 under T.U. affiliation.

Mission

The mission of the college is to acquire and develop dedicated, industrious, qualified and socially renowned faculties for delivering quality education to the students. The college will advance the intellectual and social condition of the people of the community and country through the quality program of teaching, research and services.

Vision

The college has a vision to develop itself to a renowned community based college with exceptional and outstanding educational opportunities for students. It envisions to be a student oriented college concentrating on research activities to develop academic community. The ultimate vision of the college is to develop it to a Deemed University.

The campus is well-equipped with a library, an e-library, computer labs, and all other elements needed to give students a strong academic environment. The campus is committed to academics, but it also conducts research and fieldwork to provide students real-world experience in today's business world.

The goal is to meet the needs of society by offering high-quality education that will help students develop their leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities as well as their values of respect for society, ethical behavior, and a dedication to a high-quality living.
