About Us

Since 1998, KAN - Kantipur Engineering College, a TU associate, has been teaching engineering. The goal is to create competent engineers who can handle the engineering challenges of the present period, in which science and technology dominate all facets of our life. Quality engineering education was revolutionary in Nepal at the time of its founding, but it is now essential for students to compete globally, and KAN continues to be at the forefront of the fight for excellence in engineering education. The thirty-ninth batches of engineers in the fields of civil, computer, and electronics & communication engineering graduate this year at KAN.

In all of the divisions, KAN has a highly qualified and chosen group of educators. By employing their expertise to advance research, applications, and entrepreneurial endeavors in their respective professions, the faculties have made significant contributions. Together with KEC's core commitment to excellence in education, this core of highly skilled educators guarantees that our students will have the best opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to succeed in their chosen professions with a view toward the future.

In terms of quality engineering education, a calm and pollution-free atmosphere, in-house physical infrastructure, and connections to other countries, Kantipur Engineering College is currently one of the oldest private engineering colleges in Nepal.

Mission
KEC attempts to serve the people of Nepal in order to enhance the infrastructure development of the country by imparting quality engineering education, carrying applied research and producing competent engineering manpower.

Objectives
KEC has been established with the primary objectives to:

Produce proficient, qualified and socially responsible engineering manpower required to face the challenges of the country in the new millennium.
Develop the college as a research and resource center so as to initiate research activities to strengthen engineering potentialities and to solve problems related to the areas of engineering in the country.
Provide opportunities to the citizens of Nepal willing to get engineering education in different fields at affordable cost.
Launch different programs to integrate educational and developmental activities.
