The only institution in Nepal offering further education in Ayurveda is Ayurveda Campus. In 1972 A.D., the Institute of Medicine and the Government of Nepal's Ayurved Vidyalaya and Chikitsalaya merged to become it. In 1996 AD, the bachelor's degree program was launched. The goal of Ayurveda Campus is to raise the bar for patient care, medical research, and education to transform the institution into a world-class "Center of Excellence" for ayurveda.
By striking the correct balance between old and modern systems, the campus performs ground-breaking work in the field of Ayurveda education and sends forth highly qualified and skilled Ayurveda practitioners to the nation and the rest of the globe for the benefit of humanity. The campus encourages its faculty to pay close attention to every student, helping them to improve their weaknesses and celebrate their accomplishments. A student needs to be interested in studying and should never stop learning if they want to achieve in the medical sector.
The college's goal is to raise the bar for health care, teaching, and research to fulfil its mission of becoming a premier "Center of Excellence" for Ayurveda. - MD Ayurveda: Kaya Chikitsa is one of the important branches of Ayurveda. This branch deals with various physical and psychological diseases like Fever, Rakta-pitta, Shotha, Prameha, etc. This Department imparts Graduate and Post Graduate Teaching and Training in theory as well as practical Research on various diseases through Ayurvedic principles of treatment and therapy such as Panchakarma, Rasayana, Vajikarana etc.
- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery: The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery course is an undergraduate degree program designed in such a way that it makes students familiar with the integrated concept of Modern Medical Science and Traditional Medicines, i.e. it is focussed on Ayurveda. The duration of this course is 5.5 years including Internships. A Worldwide forum has been provided by the World Health Organisation (WHO) for promoting traditional medicine systems such as Ayurveda. BAMS is one of the most popular courses in the field of medical science apart from the MBBS.

Since its establishment, this campus has been dedicated to delivering high-quality education to the students. Besides this, it is preaching humanity associated with this noble field. As the campus is growing, we are now running with Post Graduation ( MD Kayachikistiya) and Bachelor Programs (BAMS) course in our Campus. The Campus encourages its faculties to focus on each and every student and encourages them to overcome their shortcomings and appreciating their successes.
