The only institution in Nepal offering further education in ayurveda is Ayurveda Campus. In 1972 A.D., the Institute of Medicine and the Government of Nepal's Ayurved Vidyalaya and Chikitsalaya merged to become it. In 1996 AD, the bachelor's degree program was launched. The goal of Ayurveda Campus is to raise the bar for patient care, medical research, and education in order to transform the institution into a world-class "Center of Excellence" for ayurveda.
