Sociology & Other Social Science have a very intense relationship with each other. The social sciences are subjects concerned with how humans interact with the world, and sociology is interested in the study of society.
Also, sociology differs from other social sciences in that it is more general and covers human interaction from a broad dimension whereas the other social sciences are specific. They are as follows:
1. Sociology and Anthropology
These two disciplines are like twin sisters and they are mainly similarities between sociology and anthropology.

2. Sociology and Psychology
Social Psychology is defined as the science of the behavior of the individual in society showing the relationship between society and psychology. Sociology & Other Social Science have a very intimate relationship with each other.

d. Sociology & Political Science
Similarities and Differences:
Political science mainly deals with political theory and Government Administration alone whereas, sociology refers to the study of all aspects of society. Sociology stresses interrelationship between social institutions including Government whereas, political science deals mainly with the government.
Sociology deals with social, political, economic, cultural, and other aspects of society, and studies will be social institutions such as family, marriage, religion, kinship, caste, and so on. But political science provides political data to society.
e. Sociology and History
Similarities and Differences:
History is now being studied from the sociological point of view. The study of history would be meaningless ” without the appreciation of social significance. It is also said that history is past sociology, and sociology is present history.
