Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Technology (B.Sc. MIT) Program is another specialty which plays crucial role in the diagnosis of many disease by using radiological techniques such as CT scan, MRI, USG, X-ray PET CT etc. The program is specifically designed to prepare the graduates to pursue their career in nationally and internationally rapidly growing healthcare industries.

B.Sc. MIT graduates can work as Imaging Technologists in hospitals with radio diagnostic facilities both in public and private sectors. They also have an opportunity to pursue Masters and can specialize in any of the Imaging modalities in abroad.

Program Duration

The program duration will be of 4 academic years.

Eligibility Criteria

Successfully completed 10 + 2 years of education or equivalent (GCE A-level) with minimum 2.4 GPA in aggregate and minimum C+ in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and minimum C in other subject.

Entrance Test and Selection

Entrance Test for B.Sc MIT will be conducted by the Medical Education Commission (MEC), Government of Nepal and selection will be done as per MEC guidelines by MEC.
