Bhaktapur was formerly known as Khwopa, a name from the past. And the name of this college is derived from Khwopa, a historic and significant moniker. The only community-based, service-oriented college in the area is this one. The Bhaktapur Municipality, the municipal administration, has been in charge of that. And the university was established in 1999 A.D.

Its academic policy is to offer inexpensive, presumably lower price rates for both high-quality and practical education. In the current economic climate, a large portion of the population cannot afford to attend school. Therefore, this magnificent institution has been committed with a specific mission: committed for people and professionalism—to extend the facility of education as one of the basic needs. Despite being developed in Bhaktapur, a city known for its culture. It has already invited students from various 65 districts and extended its wide gate. Still, it falls short of fulfilling our objectives.

Not only does Khwopa College serve as a venue for students of all levels to pursue their academic interests, but it also serves as a good place for academics, lecturers, and parents to feel more at ease.
