One of Kathmandu University's seven schools, the Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED) seeks to alter society and education via the highest standards of instruction.
KUSOED is made up of three functional centers and four departments, all of which are committed to promoting innovation and academic progress. To meet the varied needs of its students, the school provides a wide range of programs, including B Tech Ed in Information Technology, Post-Graduate Diploma, Master, MPhil, and PhD.
KUSOED has achieved great progress in the sphere of education, with over 800 present students and nearly 1900 graduates. The institution is well-known for its needs-based and community-driven teacher preparation programs, which are intended to have an influence on their places of employment.
Postgraduate and in-service teacher training programs were introduced by KUSOED.
The four MPhil and two PhD students in the Educational Leadership program started classes. The MPhil program was funded by Japanese (Hashimoto) scholarships. From 1999 to 2005 A.D., the Ministry of Education awarded scholarships to four individuals annually for MPhil and PhD students.
