Objective of B.Sc. CSIT

Eligibility
- Must have completed a twelve-year education in the science stream or equivalent from any university, board, or institution recognized by TU.
- Should have passed the TU entrance examination with at least 35% marks. Compiled with all application procedures.
- Should have received a minimum of a second division in their +2 or equivalent, or at least a C in all subjects in Grade 11 and Grade 12 by taking Physics and Mathematics for 100 points.
Or
- Passed A level in Science (studied Physics and Mathematics with 100 marks) and passed at least in D grade.
Or
- Passed 3 Years Diploma in Engineering program from CTEVT taking both Physics and Mathematics.
Admission Criteria
A student who is eligible to study the B.Sc. CSIT course should acquire and submit an admission form from any of the B.Sc. CSIT colleges. Every year, the admission form opens during Shrawan / Bhadra.
Entrance Examination
- The entrance exam is administered by the Dean's Office at Tribhuvan University's Institute of Science and Technology.
- The Entrance Examination will be 100 Full Marks, encompassing Intermediate/10+2 level or similar courses such as English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with a pass grade of 35.
- All of the questions in the entrance exam will be objective type (MCQs).
- The examination time will be two hours.
Admission Guidelines
- The Admission Form and Entrance Model Questions can be obtained from any of the B.Sc. CSIT colleges.
- Students are not required to fill out the TU Admission Form for more than one college. The form completed by one college will be valid for all colleges/campuses.
- Students taking the Grade 12 Supplementary test can also fill out the TU Admission Form, but they must show their Academic Transcript of Passing 10+2/Intermediate level before the entrance test results are published; otherwise, their entrance exam results will not be published.
