Society and its Importance

When two or more two individuals come on the same platform then the society is formed. Society is the group of people with different identification, living pattern, race, religion, and so on. Society is the common home for all residing under it. Neighborhoods can be one of the best examples of human society. Family living next opposite to us can be of different races, different religion but both of us share the same platform same space and same territory to live and hence this form a society. Group of families who reside in the same territory and share almost every emotions related to happiness, sadness, and much more with lending their hands to help each other is meant by society.

The importance of Society are described below:

Society is one of the most integral parts of our life. Among various infrastructures of life society, it is one of most under it. Without a specific residing area and helping hands around, life seems actually very tough. Hence, in order to live life in a very comfortable way, society is the most. Food, shelter, and clothes are essential for a person to live. On a single effort, man would not be able to fulfill all his needs. For example, only one individual can't grow crops for him and for all his family solely, making clothes for his own would be difficult for him, and making a shelter without any help on his own is a merely toughest task in life. But when for these needs one gets helpful hands of another one, work can be completed quicker and would be more efficient.

Likewise, when a person gets sick, he definitely needs another person by his side. Being alone, he can neither recover his illness nor get a quick recovery without any beneficial cure. The person needs the group of people of society. In human life, there are so many threats like the danger of wild animals, natural calamities, theft, and so on. A single person definitely would not be able to cope with these all. One needs the helpful hands of another one. A single person, knowingly, is never qualified enough in all aspects of life. He definitely seeks proper guidance for this, he eventually needs expert aid for this group of people by his side or simply the society is the most.

Education plays a vital role in one's life. It is the mediator between the dark and bright future of life. A single person is never sufficient to have adequate knowledge about each and every sector in order to explore vast field of knowledge, to divide such knowledge, and to utilize gained knowledge in the most prioritized sector, the society is needed. When one person gives the own idea as per as own knowledge, it gets to collaborate with an idea of another and such collaboration results in the proper pattern of civilization and education.

When two or more than two person meets, they exchange their ideas, sadness, happiness and enjoy the moment and this helps to remove the boredom, provide the opportunity to consume time with its actual utilization and people get entertained. Within the group problem of life can be discussed out and more the number of people higher will be the mediums of resolution. And this kind of opportunity helps the person to live their own life in a more comfortable way. In this way, society is the necessity for the person to live a comfortable life with the fulfillment of his basic needs.

Participation in Social Work

Directly or indirectly, when the group of people forms the society, the work was done by them is directly related to social welfare. Hence, all the works people do within the social territory with the view of some improvements is known as social work. A person never can live alone like as he never can be apart from social affairs too. Society is formed through mutual co-operation among the people too.

The society conducts different activities for the benefit of people living under it and for maintaining the sustainability of society as well. Activities like timely cleanliness, construction works like constructing temples, roads etc. and serving the needy and poor member of society belong to be social work. Our religious, holy books say"Service to Humanity" is the roadway to gain greatest blessings from god and to achieve salvation. And this sort of believe encourages one to deeply involve in serving another. Hence seemingly in society day to day. every work is being carried out for the betterment of society and people of society.

Social Responsibilities and Rights

Rights and duties are like two wheels of a single-vehicle. In the absence of one, another cannot function properly. If one wants to enjoy the rights, he should fulfill his responsibilities too. There are crucial parts of duties of a person towards the society which he must fulfill. A person is supposed to analyze the betterment of the society along with his personal growth too. In the way of serving the society, he should involve own with any means of personal selfishness. Society provides individual different rights like the right to information, right to participation, right to communicate and in order to enjoy these rights one should contribute towards the duties too.

For example: if a person wants to enjoy the right to information then it's his duty of not revealing any kind of secret information related to society and its social affairs. Likewise, if a person has right to participate in social work then it's his responsibilities to see whether the work is being carried out as planned or not and should analyze how work can be accomplished in a successful way.

To establish the own identity as a proper citizen of a country, one should discharge his duties honestly before expecting rights to enjoy. Utilization of the rights in a proper way can be carried out only when society is civilized and developed. Hence, the betterment of society should be prioritized. Duties are to be fulfilled in order to enjoy rights and similarly, society is supposed to be developed to preserve our social rights.
