Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Structural Engineering

Institute of Engineering (IOE), Pulchowk Campus

Program Overview

Structural Engineering is a specialized branch of Civil Engineering that focuses on analyzing and designing safe, stable, and durable structures. Structural engineers are trained to evaluate the strength, stability, and performance of buildings, bridges, and other structures. Their work ensures that these constructions can withstand everyday use as well as extreme conditions like earthquakes and heavy loads.

In addition to civil structures, structural engineers may also be involved in designing products like machinery, medical devices, and vehicles where safety and strength are critical to function.
