Those specializing in Educational Planning and Management may do alternative tasks instead of teaching. This practicum lasts six weeks and is completed during or after the second year.

Thesis Writing and Evaluation

Writing a thesis in the area of specialization is nearly mandatory. Only students who have passed all first-year courses can begin thesis work.

  • The thesis must be done under a faculty supervisor.

  • The proposal format and approval process are guided by the Department Research Committee.

  • Evaluation includes both written work and a viva (oral defense).

  • Thesis quality is reviewed by the Research and Evaluation Committees within each department.

Attendance and Evaluation

  • A minimum of 70% attendance is required to sit for final exams (80% in the semester system).

  • Final exams are held at the end of each academic session by the TU Examination Office.

  • Semester exams are managed by the Dean’s Office examination section.

  • For practicals, evaluation methods are set by each subject’s committee.
