Founded in 2006, by Late Professor Upendra Devkota, the primary purpose of our institute is to provide state of the art care for brain, spinal, and other allied specialties under one roof.
Professor Devkota returned to Nepal because of his unshakable commitment to his nation and his ambition to develop neuroscience, which resulted in the establishment of the now-famous institute in Bansbari. Operational excellence is the cornerstone upon which our institute is constructed.
Our inventiveness is motivated by our history as the pioneering neuroscience center in Nepal. We are the nation's first and only provider of 24-hour stroke services. We're constantly thinking about our next "first"!
In 2020, UDM-NINAS once again demonstrated innovation by introducing the nation's first Bi-plane Cathlab, making endovascular operations accessible to the general public.
