ABOUT CAMPUS

Established in 2001, Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT) offers BE, BBA, BCA, ME, MSc, and MCIS degrees through Pokhara University. The Nepal Engineering Council has accepted the engineering degrees. 

The NCIT, a forerunner in private engineering education in Nepal, is known for its brilliance in research and teaching while retaining strong, mutually beneficial ties with several industries. The College offers top-notch options for higher education and develops each student's potential by utilizing an appropriate knowledge base that fully embraces continuing social change and economic advancement.

Additionally, Microsoft, Red Hat, and Cisco have approved The College as a training partner. It offers relevant training and administers tests leading to credentials from these renowned organizations that are recognized internationally. The Microsoft Innovation Center and numerous other reputable local and international businesses have MOUs with NCIT for internships and programmer training.

Cutting - Edge Facilities

Library

NCIT has a spacious library of over 20,000 books including textbooks, references, research & project reports, and audio-visual materials. Online access to international library networks and the latest top journals, magazines, and newspapers is available. The library timing is 6:30 am– 8:30 pm, Sunday to Friday, for students to be able to do long study.

ICT

NCIT has a networked environment with a centrally located ICT – Information Communication Technology – Centre with uninterrupted internet connectivity and free WIFI. The College also has state-of-the-art computer labs to encourage e-learning and enhance computer skills so necessary in the contemporary knowledge socio-economy.

Canteen

The College has a new canteen for students and employees on its premises. At NCIT, the food and beverages including free drinking water are checked cautiously – periodically or randomly and physically or scientifically. We ensure that all food items are fresh, clean, nutritious, chemical or pest-free, and as portable as feasible.

Project Labs

NCIT has cutting-edge labs for project work & research. Students can put their theoretical knowledge to use and learn to work independently. Modern equipment allows students to apply theory to function and to do research.

Other Activities

NCIT also provides an atmosphere for non-classroom extracurricular activities such as project preparation, software development, technical paper writing/presentation, quiz contests, industrial attachments, and so on to help students expand their overall capabilities.

NCIT also serves as CISCO and Red Hat's official certified training partner. Furthermore, it also organizes professional training courses including Operating System Design, Embedded System Design, and various management and technology-related training/conferences/seminars, which will benefit the students in their future careers.
