The newest medical school in Nepal is called Birat Medical College (BMC). 2014 saw the establishment of this expanded Kathmandu University curriculum. Every year, one hundred national and international students come to achieve their objectives and lifelong passions with us.

Despite being relatively new, BMC has a significant history when considering Nepal. In 1991, the hospital currently known as Birat Medical College Teaching Hospital started out as a single-bed clinic. Our Chairman, Dr. Gyanendra Man Singh Karki, has always been a visionary leader and a proud Nepali citizen.
